Comrade Provash Ghosh, General Secretary, SUCI (Communist) issued the following statement on 29-09-16 :
Pakistan-sponsored terrorist attack at Uri is highly condemnable. But the counter steps taken by the Government of India will not solve the problem. Rather, it will create war tension between the two countries to the detriment of the interest of the common people. What is urgently needed is a meaningful dialogue between the Governments of the two countries to stop this terrorism.
