‘‘Although the Supreme Court has exonerated Mr. Modi from alleged involvement in horrific Gujarat riot and cruel murder of Mr. Jafri and many others, he will remain guilty in the court of people’s conscience in present and future history.
We condemn arrest of human right activists Teesta Seetalvad and others, as a vindictive act of the BJP-ruled Gujarat Government. We urge upon the democratic minded people of the country to develop movement demanding their release.’’
