Strongly deploring the ghastly killing of common people of Manipur, both tribals and non-tribals, by armed hoodlums enjoying patronage of the BJP-led state government, Comrade Provash Ghosh, General Secretary, SUCI(C), in a statement on 05-05-2023, asked the central and state governments to quell the communal disturbance with a strong hand and restore normalcy at once.
He also demanded that the Manipur state government should concede to the just and legitimate demands of all sections of the people of Manipur in right earnest failing which the conflict might snowball into a violent internecine communal conflagration.
