SUCI(C) decries so called ‘Agneepath’ scheme as a deception

Comrade Provash Ghosh, General Secretary, SUCI (Communist), issued the following statement on 16 June 2022:
‘‘The so called AGNEEPATH scheme announced by the central BJP government for recruiting persons in temporary jobs in the Indian Army is a totally deceptive formulation to hoodwink the unemployed of the country and to deprive the empanelled persons who are waiting for a call to join the Army, of permanent jobs.
It is a well-thought-out trickery to befool the youths of the country. There is enough cause for the outburst going on in different parts of the country. We support the legitimate demand of the students and youths. But to achieve the demand, a sustained, well-organized and well-disciplined movement is necessary. Hope the agitators would think over and go for that.’’
