Regarding the raids and arrests of the Senior human rights and social activists from the different parts of the country on 28 August 2018, Comrade Provash Ghosh, the General Secretary of SUCI(C) has issued the following statement to the Press.
The most undemocratic raids and arrests of the senior human rights and social activists by the Maharastra police and administration steered by the BJP is a fascistic move on the plea of their involvement in the Bhima-Koregaon incident to suprress the voice of protest and to create fear among the protesting people is highly condemnable. We demand immediate and unconditional release of those human rights and social activists.
