By people’s emotional positive response to the strike call they have shown their resolve of fight against the anti worker, anti peasant and anti people policies of the BJP government at the center. The success of the strike also reflects people’s no-confidence in the sweet words of the central govt. The way BJP govt. Unleashed police oppression in the North Indian states to prevent peasants’ call of Delhi Chalo is highly condemnable. Hundreds of our party workers have been arrested in different states along with workers of other organizations. We demand their immediate release. By negating the govt’s position this strike has sent the message that if not the demands are immediately met, the people in no time would plunge into sustained movement.
