Thousands of ITI Students from 5 states i.e, Andharpradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilanadu participated in the ITI trainees Southern States Convention which was held in Hyderabad. In the morning, a massive rally was organized from exhibition grounds to Prakasham Hall, Nampally Hyderabad.
Renowned political analyst Prof PL Vishveswarrao inaugurated the Convention. Prof Rao, in his speech criticised the unscientific semester system in practical oriented ITI’s
. Being the main speaker, All India president of AIDYO, Comrade BR Manjunath stressed the necessity of powerful youth movement in the country. Prime Minister Modi is working for Adani’s and Ambani’s only, he is simply neglecting the people’s problems, he said.
General Secretary, Comrade Pratibha Naik said that, AIDYO is organizing a country wide powerful movement against introduction of semester system in ITI’s and demanding the solution for problems in ITI’s since decades. Com Rajagopal (Tamilnadu), Com Prasanth (Kerala), Comrade Bharat( AP & TS) also spoke in the convention. Comrade Ramanjanappa presided over the convention.
