Dear Comrades of Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist),
The Communist Party of Pakistan felicitates Comrade Provash Ghosh (the General Secretary), the central committee, leadership, and the comrades of the Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist) for successfully celebrating the birth centenary of the Comrade Shibdas Ghosh whose concluding ceremony shall be held on 5 August, 2023. We believe and acknowledge that all those communist leaders who fought the war of independence are collective heroes of all the countries of the sub-continent and We, on eve of their birth celebrations and anniversaries, pay tribute and homage and organize the events so their teachings keep on illuminating the path for the generations. It is an honor for us to be part of the celebrations of such a hero Comrade Shibdas Gosh, the founder of SUCI (Communist) and great ideologue of the subcontinent and international Communist movement.
We believe that there is a need for unity, collaboration and international solidarity amongst the communist and workers parties of the world which should encourage dialogue and cooperation with an aim to strengthen the movement’s collective voice.
The prospects of revival of the international communist movement are inevitable as the result of the rising global inequality which leads to the increased interest in alternative socio-economic models of socialism. Let us work together to envision a socialist future where the International Communist Movement under the ideals of Marxism-Leninism and by rejecting all forms of social democracy and revisionism, must revolt to bring a socialist system for a more equitable, just, and sustainable world for the common people and working classes of the world.

Revolutionary Greetings to Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist)!
It is an honor for us in Workers World Party in the United States to greet the Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist) on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Shibdas Ghosh, your founding leader, who has contributed to the development of Marxism-Leninism worldwide and whose work is accessible to communists also in the United States.
Leadership of a Marxist-Leninist Party is always important. In times of crisis the role of political and ideological leader of a Marxist-Leninist party is essential, as comrade Ghosh has shown through his writing. One can see that he was able to guide the party membership to adapt to turns in the class struggle.
First of all, comrade Ghosh emphasized the necessity to learn to apply Marxism-Leninism as a powerful weapon to understand the development of society and to wield this weapon for the working class in the class struggle.
One of his articles from the 1960s has special meaning for us. He discussed the October 1962 Cuban missile crisis, something that every communist party had to react to at that time. In it, comrade Ghosh explained that while it was of primary importance to avoid a worldwide nuclear conflagration, it was possible to do this without surrendering sovereignty of any nation to U.S. imperialism. And he showed how.
It is this type of analysis that can keep a Marxist-Leninist party moving in a revolutionary direction and it is only one example of his vital work.
We are now facing a world that has changed much since 1962. U.S. imperialism, with its NATO and other military alliances, is pushing wars and carrying out sanctions against a third of the globe’s people.
Workers World Party declares its intention to maintain working-class internationalism and cooperation with all forces aligned against U.S. imperialism and with SUCI (Communist), which has grown and developed with the early guidance of Comrade Shibdas Ghosh.

Dear Comrades, The Party of Communists USA (PCUSA) sends its greetings to the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) on the Birth Centenary of comrade Shibdas Ghosh happening in Kolkata, West Bengal on August 5th. Shibdas Ghosh was the founder and is the ideological guide of the SUCI (C), which under the leadership of Shibdas Ghosh became a mass party. The SUCI (C) distinguishes itself from other Indian communist parties by opposing the revisionism of Khrushchev, while also rejecting the excesses of Maoism and firmly opposing both right revisionism and left adventurism. The Party of Communists USA salutes the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) on the Birth Centenary of Shibdas Ghosh.

We are at present engaged in an intense struggle to build a genuine revolutionary party in our country. Our party considers Comrade Shibdas Ghosh as an authority on Marxism in the line of Marx-Engels-Lenin-Stalin-Mao Zedong. We firmly believe that Comrade Shibdas Ghosh elaborated, developed and enriched Marxism-Leninism in the post-Lenin Period and showed the path of the proletarian revolution in all the countries. The thoughts of Comrade Shibdas Ghosh was brought to the soil of Bangladesh by his worthy student, great revolutionary Comrade Mubinul Haider Chowdhury, the founding General Secretary of our party.
In our country, the new light of Marxism-Leninism-Shibdas Ghosh Thought inspired hundreds of people from all walks of life, particularly young men and women to leave their personal lives in order to join the revolutionary movement. At the end of the observance of the birth centenary of Comrade Shibdas Ghosh, we hope that his thoughts will illumine the path of emancipation of the oppressed and exploited people of the world. Let the teachings of Comrade Shibdas Ghosh be the foundation of our unity.
