“We strongly condemn the ill-motived abstention of the BJP-led Indian government during a vote at the UN Human Rights Council on setting up of an inquiry into reported human rights violations by Israel when it attacked Gaza territory killing and injuring hundreds people including children, destroying houses, hospitals and schools in pursuit of its ulterior design to evict Palestinians from their own territory. This move is glaringly aimed at satisfying Zionist Israeli regime backed by the US imperialists and is blatantly violative of the glorious anti- imperialist tradition of the Indian people.
We call upon all anti-imperialist peace-loving people of India to unequivocally despise the Indian government for such a wanton anti-humanitarian move and stand in firm solidarity with the fighting Palestinian people.”
