Comrade Arun Singh, Bihar State Secretary, SUCI(C), severely condemned the recently introduced draconian Bihar Special Armed Police Act,2021 which empowers the police to arrest anyone at any anytime at its will and whim. He also condemned the manhandling of the opposition legislatures inside the assembly for voicing protest against such a black act. Comrade Arun Singh also said that in tune with the BJP-led Central Government, the Bihar Government led by BJP-JD(U) alliance is also adopting one after another anti-people policies to make life miserable for the people. Priceline and unemployment have reached new heights in the state. The graphs of corruption, bribery, fraud and crime are rising steeply. In such a condition, by promulgating such fascistic acts, the Bihar Government is conferring unbriddled power on the police to muzzle the voice of protest. Undoubtedly, whatever little of democracy is still remaining democracy is being systematically destroyed by the reactionary government subservient to the sinister class interest of the ruling capitalist class.
Comrade Singh demanded of the Bihar Government to withdraw the amended Police Act and mete out stringent punishment to those guilty of mounting the heinous assault on the opposition legislatures in the Assembly.
