58 Lakhs People signed mass petitions submitted to Governor of West Bengal

Kolkata 15 June: SUCI Communist, West Bengal State leaders took a truck load of mass signed 18 pt. charter of demands written forms to the West Bengal Governor Mr. K N Tripathi and submitted the signed forms to his officials.
For the last one and half months, party workers defying the scorching heat of summer took to the streets all over the state and collected signatures from all sections of common people in support of the demands.
This was in continuation of 5 February Mass Law-Violation movement and it will continue with block and subdivisional level programme of movements like Dharna, lawviolation, road block etc.
State Secretary Com. Soumen Basu announced that in mid September a massive road block in Kolkata would be organised if the central and state governments do not pay any heed to the peoples demands.
